CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS: LECTURER PETITIONS BUHARI, ICPC AND IGP, INDICTS DELTA GOVERNOR OKOWA AND OTHERS.
PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI A lecturer with Delta State polytechnic Oghara, Mr. Osiobe Ovie has petitioned President Buhari, ICPC Chairman and the Inspector General of Police over various crimes allegedly committed by the Polytechnic Rector Dr. (Mrs) Clara Sogbaike, the Bursar, Mr. Napoleon Akpubi and the Registrar, Mr. Benson Omonode. Mr. Osiobe Ovie alleged that Dr. (Mrs) Clara Sogbaike and others looted a whooping sum of over One Billion naira ( N 1,000,000,000.00) from the institution’s account and other corrupt practices (including awarding fake Result and Certificates to students as against National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) courses approval and accreditation reports and extorted N5,500 each from over 70,000 (Seventy Thousand) students to carry out fake life policy insurance for the student).
