'Youths, Be Pro-Active and Viable in Quest for Greatness' - Hon Osanebi

The Honorable Member representing Ndokwa East Constituency and Deputy Majority Whip in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Hon, Friday Osanebi has called on Nigerian Youths to seize the current surge of the Nigerian economy in Africa by contributing their own quota to National growth through entrepreneurship and self-empowerment. 
 
Honorable Osanebi charged young Nigerians to be proactive and viable in their quest for greatness urging them to be self-reliant and independent which will in turn create employment and fight poverty in the land. The Honorable member made this call while addressing a cross section of his constituents on Saturday 16th August, 2014 in Kwale Delta State while marking this year’s empowerment programme for his constituents. 
The event witnessed the presentation of food items and provisions to orphanages and the less privileged in the Ndokwa East Constituency. The major highlight of the event was the presentation of 14-Seater Buses, 3 Cars, 10 Motorcycles, Sewing Machines, Hair Dressing Machines with accessories and other empowerment materials to youths from the area.

A 47-year-old farmer, Gbenga Ogunfolabo has been arrested by the police in Ogun State for stabbing his wife, Bosede Ogunfolabo, 45, to death with broken bottle during a fisticuff. Nigerian Man Lands In Hospital After Cocaine Bursts In His Belly In Kenya

An unnamed Nigerian man has been arrested in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday, 23 July, 2014 after the cocaine he was allegedly carrying burst in his belly. According to reports, the middle-aged man had arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi from Lagos. The incident was said to happen while the Nigerian traveller was still on transit and he was immediately hospitalised. It was gathered that the airline scheduled to fly him out with other passengers to an Asian country booked him at the Laico Regency, Wednesday morning.
