Keshi Accepts Offer To Stay On As Super Eagles Coach

Stephen Keshi Reports from the
NFF office in Abuja claim an assistant coach submitted Keshi's acceptance of
the NFF's formal offer, via letter, on his behalf.
Recall
the coach's original contract with the NFF ended following the World Cup in
Brazil. The coach, in his three years at the helm, led the Eagles to win the
Africa Cup of Nations a third time and to qualification (and entry into the
Round of 16) in a fifth World Cup.
It
is alleged that Keshi has asked that the NFF to provide him with an official
residence and car in the coming contract.
Other
supposed demands include timely payment of his monthly salary and full control
of hiring and oversight of backroom staff.
Nigeria
will play Rwanda, in Nigeria, on September 7. This will be the Eagles' first
qualifying match for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in
Morocco in 2015.
